The event was held at the Community Center of Caloocan of the town, with the “Empowering Parent-Leaders for Community Development.”

Alejandro emphasized that in order to be a significant influence on the growth of their families and communities, parent-leaders need to be “passionate, skilled planners, and well-equipped with decision-making abilities.”

For her part, Gaffud acknowledged the role of the parent-leaders of the 4Ps in the implementation of the country’s national poverty reduction strategy.

Sanguniang-bayan member Rom-Mikahail Go said effective growth involves leadership, listening skills, a constructive impact to accomplish the proper goals, inspiring abilities, and cultivating an organization through humility and unity.

Dandrige Jayson Co offered advice on handling conflict and communication, emphasizing that open lines of communication are necessary for parents and children to build positive relationships.

Individuals participating in the 4Ps program who fulfil the specified requirements for the communal garden will also get rewards ranging from P500 to P1,500.

The 4Ps offers cash grants to recipients who meet the program’s requirements, which were modeled after the conditional cash transfer schemes.

Poor and near-poor households must be willing to comply with the requirements and meet any of the criteria to be qualified for cash grants.
