The Caloocan Committee on the Anti-Trafficking and Violence Against Women And Children (CCAT-VAWC) was commended once again by the Department of the Interior and Local Government – National Capital Region (DILG-NCR) for its campaign to protect the interests of women and children in the city.

Based on the result of the Functionality Assessment conducted by the DILG-NCR, the CCAT-VAWC garnered an overall rating of 108, which is considered as “ideal” due to the innovations and the continuous efforts implemented by the local committee to fulfill its mandate.

City Mayor Dale Gonzalo Malapitan praised the accomplishments of the CCAT-VAWC and vowed that under his administration, women, children, and other members of vulnerable sectors will continue to be protected and empowered.

The local chief executive likewise acknowledged the inspiration and motivation provided by the recognitions received by the city government for its outstanding programs.
