During the turnover ceremony, Li and Chen detailed the Tzu Chi Eye Center’s 17-year history of treating 20,000 to 30,000 ophthalmic patients annually, helping them regain their sights.

The center’s team includes experienced specialists from various hospitals who provide treatments for conditions such as cataracts, retinal disorders, glaucoma and more.

Their services also include corneal grafting, oculoplasty, intravitreal injections and pterygium surgeries.

Zhuang encouraged the Filipino-Chinese community to contribute further to the Tzu Chi Eye Center to support more impoverished patients in need of eye care.
