A 16-man pool has been assembled for the coming FIBA Asia Cup qualifiers at the end of the month in Manama, Bahrain.
The pool has been working out inside a training bubble at the Inspire Sports Academy in Calamba, Laguna since last week.
Mainstays Isaac Go, Allyn Bulanadi, Rey Suerte, Matt Nieto, and Mike Nieto are in the pool.
They have been joined by Kobe Paras, Juan Gomez de Liano, Javi Gomez de Liano, Justin Baltazar, Dave Ildefonso, Will Navarro, Kenmark Carino, Calvin Oftana, Jaydee Tungcab, Dwight Ramos, and naturalization prospect Angelo Kouame.
For now, the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas has not invited players playing in the Philippine Basketball Association.
Some of the players are already available after their club teams have left the PBA Bubble in Angeles City, Pampanga.
The coaching staff is made up of Gilas Pilipinas Men's Team Program head Tab Baldwin, along with Jong Uichico, Boyet Fernandez, Alton Lister, Sandro Soriano, and Andrei Tolentino.
All of the team members tested negative for COVID-19 before they joined training bubble, which got under way last Friday.
SBP president Al Panlilio said the players and coaches have since been training away from their families.
