Presidential Communications Office Assistant Secretary Wheng Hidalgo told Palace quoted Press Secretary Cheloy Garafil as saying the reporters were not true.

President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. appointed in late September last year the former Supreme Court chief justice as his executive secretary, replacing long-time aide Vic Rodriguez.

Rodriguez supposedly to be given another key position, but none of that ever happened.

Trixie Cruz Angeles succeeded Rodriguez, but she too, stepped down citing health reasons.

Commission on Audit chairman Jose Calida took over after Angeles, but he also eventually resigned.
