People…are talking about Maymay Entrata

Maymay Entrata

She shocked everyone by posting a photo of her with her beau on Instagram. The post served two purposes as the actress took the opportunity to greet her partner with a happy birthday on Valentine’s Day. As fans played detective to uncover the identity of her partner, Maymay’s mother dropped a hint in the comments saying that the mystery man’s name is Aaron. Maymay’s celebrity friends and fans congratulated her on this revelation. And they’re right; she does deserve to be happy with her “Valentino.”

Leody de Guzman

Although many consider him the overlooked presidential candidate, Ka Leody is making waves on social media after announcing that he’ll attend the presidential debate organized by Pastor Apollo Quiboloy’s SMNI. Ka Leody debated against fellow presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. For the last question, Ka Leody didn’t flinch as he told viewers that they should vote for him because he’s not a robber, he’s not from a political dynasty, and he’s not corrupt. Wonder who’s he alluding to?

People…are not talking about

Sandro Marcos

Is it okay to have someone be in the government, leading the poor, and yet, out of touch with the real situation of his people? Sandro is looking to make a name for himself in politics by running as a congressman in Ilocos Norte. However, he’s not impressing anybody with his antics. In an interview with Thinking Pinoy, the dictator’s grandson unabashedly asked what “DH” means. After the host explained that it stands for domestic helper, Sandro added that it was first his first time learning about it. This angered viewers who said it was a blatant example of how detached he and his family are from the reality of their fellow Filipinos.

Darryl Yap

The controversial director continues to earn flak from audiences for his untraditional pieces. But this time around, it’s his satirical skit titled “Pagod Len-Len” starring Senator Imee R. Marcos, Roanna Marie, and Juliana Parizcova Segovia that’s angering numerous Filipinos. Regardless of their political affiliation, the working class felt particularly enraged after hearing that those who work for more than 18 hours a day are “either stupid or lying.” Guess he doesn’t take 18 hours to finish his work. What a dream.
